Best 7 Gun Holsters for Concealed Carry

There are a lot of good reasons to carry a concealed weapon. First, you will have confidence that you are always prepared to protect yourself and those you love in an emergency. Second, you have easy access to defend yourself in case of an attack. As a woman, I can’t say enough about the importance of concealed carry, but sometimes toting around even a small pistol can be cumbersome. Plus, we want to keep things discreet! That’s why I’ve spent hours shopping for good holsters. Here are 7 of my top picks for concealed carry gun holsters. If you are looking for a better way to keep your firearm safely stored at your side, check out these options!

  1. Milt Sparks Holster

1 - Milt Sparks holster

This is a classic holster that fits snugly inside the waistband of your pants. Not only is it comfortable, but it offers easy concealment and easy access if you need to grab your gun in a hurry.

  1. Alessi Ankle Holster

2 - Alessi ankle holster

When winter weather hits, I love to wear ankle holsters. This one fits discreetly under my genes or tucked inside my warm boots. Alessi offers handmade holsters made from leather and they really last through months of wear and tear. This holster comes ready to wear without any uncomfortable break in periods!

  1. Miami Classic Shoulder System

3 - Miami classic shoulder system

If you prefer a traditional shoulder holster, you will love this leather design. It fits securely and is tension adjustable, which is a must when you go with the shoulder system. I have worn this holster on a handful of occasions and while shoulder designs are not my favorite, it was comfortable and easy to conceal. Shoulder holsters are my husband’s favorite and because this one is adjustable, we can share it!

  1. Minotaur MTAC Concealment Holster

4 - Minotaur concealment holster

Minotaur is a go-to brand for holsters and this one really is made for ultimate comfort. It is made from cowhide leather, which is hard to beat when it comes to durability. This option is made to wear behind the hip in the 4 o’clock position and you can adjust it to fit comfortably with your height.

  1. Bravo Concealment Patriot Holster

5 - bravo patriot holster

This Bravo Patriot holster is made to carry on the outside of your waistband, but I found that you can easily carry it inside by switching the belt loops. It is small enough to give you adequate room to easily draw out your gun in one swift move. It seemed like this design was made to fit the natural curves of a woman’s body. I thought it was one of the most comfortable waistband options I’ve ever tried.

  1. Thigh Rig Duty Holster

6- thigh rig duty holster

This thigh rig holster is not only gorgeous, but it’s really effective for keeping your weapon hidden. I love that it comes with a positive lock trigger guard and unlike many competitors that I’ve tried, the adjustable thigh straps really hold it in place so your gun doesn’t start sliding down your leg when you are walking through the mall.

  1. Active ProGear Cargo Pocket Holster

7 - cargo pocket holster

This simple pocket holster fits comfortably in cargo pants or shorts. While I’m not typically seen wearing cargo pants unless I’m out hunting, this is a top choice for the men in my family! My husband loves this holster because it positions his gun in the perfect position to grab it from an upright or sitting position. It also does a good job of disguising the shape of the gun so no one would ever be able to guess that you are packing heat!

These are 7 of my favorite concealed carry holsters. What style do you prefer?
